I would like to thank everyone from SBDA that participated in PSRC's Field Test last weekend. When you looked around there were folks from California, Nevada, Montana & Alberta there BUT by far the vast majority were our friends from the Spokane Bird Dog Association. We really appreciate those that sent dogs over, those that handled their dogs and those that Judged. We could not have had a test without all of you.

Now let me put a special plug in for the Judges. They gave up 3 to 5 days of their lives so the rest of us could run our dogs. The sharing of their skill and knowledge is important but the generous giving of their time is absolutely priceless. The conditions were severe and the days were long as well as hot.

Alot of you pitched in by manning a station when needed and helping with placing & removing equipment. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

See ya in the field.  HPW

The weather was definitely brutal, but the dogs, handlers, helpers and judges managed pretty well.
It was definitely a great time. It was definitely a deep learning experience for me as a new judge on Friday (Senior Stakes), but with Art Rourke as my co-judge, it was great.
The help was truly impressive. Our gunners on Saturday never missed a single bird. I saw one Chukar shot at 60 yards in the Quarter/Steady to Flush ! !
I also believe that Harry Williams is actually more than one person. It was confirmed that he was actually seen in 6 different places at the same time.

As usual for PSRC, the Saturday evening Ribbon Ceremony / Tailgate Party was superb.

And speaking about the SBDA folks, the only dogs to receive Started/Intermediate Ribbons on Sunday were all from the EASTside.

All in all it was superb !
